About Epic's Ride-Camp-Ride Experience:
Day one: Meet us at the end of the trail in Ongarue. Hand over your perishables and personals that the Epic team will transport to the campsite along with your camping gear. You will be shuttled to the start of the Timber Trail at the entrance to the Pureora Forest Park. You will cycle the top half of the Timber Trail from Pureora to Piropiro Campsite; 40km of amazing forestry scenery. On arrival at the midpoint campsite you will find a camping kit box, your perishables and personals. Set-up camp and have a shower in your personal shower pod and settle down for a fabulous night under the stars.
Day two: Pack up the campsite back in the camp kit box. Head out on the second half of your adventure from Piropiro to Ongarue. Covering 45km, you'll see a number of amazing sights that will stay with you a lifetime. The fantastic suspension bridges across the Maramataha and Mangatukutuku Rivers will take your breath away and the dark tunnel of the Ongarue Spiral will leave you in awe of the pioneering spirit of the early timber workers. Meet us at the end of the trail back at your car to return your bags and leave having experienced one of New Zealand’s most amazing natural adventures.
Camping kits provided include: tents, blow up mattress with foot pump, camping chairs, table, fire starters and matches, water, shower pod with shower bag, lamplight, cooking and eating utensils, sleeping bags, pillows, towels +more.

Bookings essential. Subject to availability and weather conditions. Must be used in one visit by specified number of people. Deal can be arranged for larger groups. Pick up is usually at 9am in Ongarue, on the trail by 10am and expected ride time of 5-7hours each day. 24-hour cancellation policy applies or deal void. Meals not included, you must provide your own. Bike hire is not included, if you do not have your own mountain bike you can hire one for a surcharge per bike. Bookings which cannot proceed due to circumstances outside of Epic Cycle Adventures control, and cannot be rescheduled to a mutually agreeable date, will not be eligible for a refund unless required by law. About Epic's Shuttle and Bike Hire Package:
Meet Epic in Ongarue at the end of the trail and their shuttle will transport you and the bikes to the Timber Trail's halfway point at Piropiro. You'll spend the day cycling the second half of the Timber Trail through the Pureora Forest; following old tramway paths. You will cross the mesmorising Maramataha and Mangatukutuku suspension bridges and down through the Ongarue Spiral. The 42km trail ends back where you parked your vehicle, where the Epic team will be waiting to collect their gear.
This package includes shuttle, bikes, helmets, spare tubes and a repair kit.

Deal must be used in one visit and for a minimum group of two. Pick up usually at 9am, on the trail by 10am and expected finish time around 3pm. 24-hour cancellation policy applies or deal void. Cannot be used as part of any "Full" trail option. Bookings which cannot proceed due to circumstances outside of the Epic Cycle Adventures control, and cannot be rescheduled to a mutually agreeable date, will not be eligible for a refund unless required by law.
